Most "alpaca" quilts on the market are 30–40% blends, padded out with synthetic fill, and sent off-shore for processing. Ours is 100% pure alpaca — sourced, processed and hand crafted right here in Australia.
Why purity matters
Three temperatures, one purchase
One quilt, two layers. Use the 200gsm Summer layer alone, the 300gsm All Year layer alone, or clip them together for around 500gsm of Winter warmth. A world first when we made it, still the only quilt built this way.

What makes this set different from the individual All Seasons Duo sets? +
The individual Alpaca Bamboo All Seasons Duo pairs two Alpaca Bamboo quilts, and the Alpaca Gold All Seasons Duo pairs two Alpaca Gold quilts. This set is unique. It combines the Alpaca Bamboo 200gsm (ideal for summer with its superior breathability and moisture management) with the Alpaca Gold 300gsm (pure MicroCombed alpaca for spring and autumn). Together they offer the best of both fibre expressions, clipping to a combined 500gsm for winter.
Which quilt do I use in which season? +
The 200gsm Alpaca Bamboo is ideal for summer — its bamboo content makes it the most breathable and moisture-wicking quilt in the set. The 300gsm Alpaca Gold suits spring and autumn — pure alpaca at a weight that adapts naturally across the transitional seasons. Clip both together for winter warmth.
How do the two quilts clip together? +
Both quilts feature internal clip attachments that connect along the edges, holding them together as a single combined quilt. The clips are discrete and do not affect the sleep surface.
Is this set good for hot sleepers? +
Yes, the Alpaca Bamboo 200gsm is one of our most breathable and moisture-wicking quilts, making it ideal for warm sleepers through summer. The Alpaca Gold 300gsm is naturally breathable pure alpaca, which regulates temperature naturally through spring and autumn. The combined 500gsm winter configuration delivers warmth without the stuffiness of a synthetic fill.
Are both quilts hypoallergenic? +
Yes, both the Alpaca Bamboo and Alpaca Gold are naturally non-allergenic and free from lanolin. The Alpaca Bamboo is also naturally antibacterial without any chemical treatment, a natural property of the bamboo fibre.
