    Each of our products has a care label sewn onto it which details the recommended care instructions of the product.

    PLEASE strictly follow the care instructions to properly clean the product, maintain its quality and performance. Failure to do so can cause the quilt, doona, pillow, underblanket or comfort top to be severely damaged and destroyed. We will not consider or accept any quality guarantee claim unless our care instructions have been followed.

    In general, the care instructions that we recommend are regular fluffing up and outside airing on a warm sunny day.

    If required your quilt, pillow or underblankets can be dry cleaned, P40. Please talk with your dry cleaner to make sure that they understand what they are cleaning. If you have it dry cleaned, please thoroughly air afterwards.

    Do not allow the quilt, doona, pillow or underblanket to become damp or wet.

    DO NOT MACHINE WASH ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS - THEY WILL BE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED.

    With a luxuriously thick, soft wool pile of 650 grams per square metre and a thick layer of alpaca wool support under the pile fabric, the alpaca and wool underblanket offers you exceptional body support for extra special comfort and a restful night’s sleep.

    The alpaca wool underblanket comes with a full depth fitted elasticized skirt of 38cm (which stretches up to 52cm) to keep the underblanket securely in place. Fully reversible for summer with our superfine cotton sateen fabric covering the reverse side. Clever and very practical.

    What is the difference between a comfort top and an underblanket?
    Both sit between your mattress and sheet, but they serve slightly different purposes. An underblanket is typically reversible and designed for seasonal use - one side for warmth, one for cool. A comfort top is a single all-year layer focused on softness, comfort and natural breathability.
    What is the Alpaca Wool Underblanket filled with?
    The Alpaca Wool Underblanket has two distinct layers working together. The top surface is a luxuriously thick, soft alpaca wool pile at 650 grams per square metre — one of the densest natural fibre pile surfaces available in Australian bedding. Beneath that pile is a thick layer of alpaca wool support wadding, which provides the exceptional body support and pressure relief that sets this underblanket apart from standard mattress toppers.
    Is the Alpaca Wool Underblanket reversible, and why does that matter?
    Yes — the underblanket is fully reversible by design. The winter side features the luxuriously thick 650gsm alpaca wool pile for warmth, body support and moisture management through the cooler months. The reverse side is a superfine cotton sateen — smooth, cool and breathable — making it ideal for warmer nights when you still want a natural layer between you and your mattress. One underblanket, every season, with nothing to store away.
    Why is alpaca wool particularly well suited to an underblanket?
    Alpaca wool is naturally temperature-regulating, moisture-wicking and hypoallergenic — properties that are especially valuable in a layer that sits close to your body through the night. Unlike synthetic mattress toppers that trap heat and moisture, alpaca actively manages both, keeping you dry and comfortable whether the night is warm or cool.
