    Each of our products has a care label sewn onto it which details the recommended care instructions of the product.

    PLEASE strictly follow the care instructions to properly clean the product, maintain its quality and performance. Failure to do so can cause the quilt, doona, pillow, underblanket or comfort top to be severely damaged and destroyed. We will not consider or accept any quality guarantee claim unless our care instructions have been followed.

    In general, the care instructions that we recommend are regular fluffing up and outside airing on a warm sunny day.

    If required your quilt, pillow or underblankets can be dry cleaned, P40. Please talk with your dry cleaner to make sure that they understand what they are cleaning. If you have it dry cleaned, please thoroughly air afterwards.

    Do not allow the quilt, doona, pillow or underblanket to become damp or wet.

    DO NOT MACHINE WASH ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS - THEY WILL BE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED.

    Our very popular Alpaca Bamboo pillows are now available in a Twin Pack set.

    The luxuriously quilted outer cover is a superfine bamboo/cotton fabric (bamboo 60%/40% cotton in a sateen weave construction of 320 thread count per square inch) with a 300 grams per square metre of soft, natural bamboo fibre beneath it to cushion your head, absorb moisture and provide permanent and natural (chemical free) anti bacterial protection.

    The outer casing has a zipper so that it can easily be removed and machine washed. Just perfect for those hot sweaty summer nights.

    Inside the outer cover there is an inner pillow filled with a blend of alpaca and high performance fibre, designed to be super soft, moisture absorbent with an ideal loft performance.

    What makes the Alpaca Bamboo Pillow different from the Alpaca Classic?
    The Alpaca Bamboo is a two-layer design. The outer casing is a quilted bamboo and cotton sateen (60% bamboo, 40% cotton) with 200gsm of pure bamboo fibre wadding — naturally antibacterial, highly moisture-absorbent and silky smooth against the skin. It zips off and machine washes. Inside is an OptiFill® alpaca blend inner for softness and lasting shape. The Alpaca Classic is a single-fill pillow without the washable bamboo outer. Choose the Bamboo if you sleep warm, want a pillow you can machine wash, or prefer the feel of bamboo against your face.
    Is the Alpaca Bamboo Pillow good for hot sleepers?
    Yes — it is one of the best pillows available for warm sleepers. The bamboo outer is naturally moisture-absorbent and breathable, drawing heat and perspiration away from your face and head through the night. Bamboo is also naturally antibacterial without any chemical treatment, so it stays fresher for longer.
    Will the Alpaca Bamboo Pillow go flat over time?
    No, Kelly & Windsor natural fibre pillows do not go flat over time. The inner pillow uses our OptiFill® construction which quilts the alpaca blend fill into the case, maintaining consistent shape, loft and support over time. It won't go flat or lumpy regardless of how much use it gets.
    Can the outer casing of the Alpaca Bamboo Pillow be machine washed?
    Yes — this is one of the key features of the Alpaca Bamboo Pillow. The outer bamboo casing unzips and machine washes, making it one of the most practical natural fibre pillows we make. The inner pillow should be dry cleaned only.
