The answer to this question really depends upon your answer to several other questions -
What type of sleeper are you?
Some people are 'hot' in bed and some are 'cold'. Each of these two conditions requires different quilt weight i.e. warmth, for the sleeper to experience a comfortable night’s sleep. If you and your sleeping partner are different sleeping types i.e. one is hot, the other is cold, and then you should consider if a His & Her's quilt can solve the problem.
What is your sleeping environment i.e. no heating or cooling in the bedroom or is the bedroom centrally heated? Your environment will be an important factor in the choice of a quilt to meet your needs. A building's construction i.e. wall thickness, insulation and the evenness of night time temperatures, as well as what type of mattress do you have? Is it a pillow top, low line or dual top style? This needs to be considered when selecting your quilt.
Do you live in the tropics or in a cold climate?
In our experience, all of the above factors are important in selecting the right Kelly & Windsor quilt which you will enjoy for many years.
After considering the above, we then recommend you go to our article Our BMI Matrix Alpaca Quilt Selector on this site which provides a simple and easy to use guide as to what type of quilt best you suits you.
