K&W are a proud supporter of the Australia Made Campaign

Being a supporter and licence holder of the Australia Made Campaign is an important element of our branding and marketing strategy, especially for international export markets.

The Australian Made Campaign actively supports its licence holders who agree to submit to the strict conditions and compliance that their products are truly made in Australia.

When Kelly & Windsor was established in 2001 there were over thirty Australian bedding manufacturers. Now nearly twenty years on there are only four that remain! K&W is highly regarded in Australian bedding industry as being the premier niche producer of high end bedding products. This distinguishes us from other Australian manufacturers who have a  high volume, low to mid quality business model. There is nothing wrong with that, its just not what Kelly & Windsor is about.

Over the years we have had several approaches by foreign bedding companies offering to make our bedding collections for us from their manufacturing facilities overseas. These offers were predicated on offering lower prices.

Our response was immediate, no way! We are a proud Australian manufacturer, employing Australian labour, contributing to the Australian economy and would suffer significant damage to the K&W brand if it became "made in China". In fact we would lose our primary export customer base who want to buy and distribute genuine Australian made luxury bedding collections.

We also would lose our flexibility to service our customer base with small orders and short delivery and more than likely endanger our intellectual capital and experience in working with alpaca and other natural fibre products which has taken years to create.

All of the Kelly & Windsor brand of bedding collections is 100% made in Australia and we are very proud of that especially when so many bedding products are imported into Australia today.

The famous green and gold kangaroo logo of the Australian Made symbol is highly recognised and respected within Australia and internationally.
