Alpaca bedding is our core business and Kelly & Windsor is a vertical manufacturer. We use only the finest premium quality selected alpaca fleece, and after more than seven individual precision processes, the entire Kelly & Windsor alpaca bedding collections are manufactured on the same site in Melbourne, Australia.

Unique fleece carding…slowly and layer upon layer

After careful grading, sorting and preparation of the alpaca fleece, it is carded on specialized equipment to align the fibres and to create a gossamer thin fibre web which is then cross laid, layer upon layer to prepare the fleece filling for our quilts to maximize its loft and evenness across the quilt.

Superfine fabrics

We use only the finest premium grade pure cotton fabrics, with very fine yarn counts and high thread constructions woven into luxuriously soft and exquisite sateen fabric to encase our quilts, complimenting the essence of our bedding, alpaca fleece. Our cover fabrics are silky smooth with an appealing shiny lustre that perfectly matches the luxury of the alpaca filling.

Precision Quilting

Each of our quilt styles has an individual design. Our standard quilting pattern, using diamonds inside a border has been carefully selected to ensure that the filling fibre stays in place and the quilting pattern is minimalised to enhance the natural softness of our alpaca quilts. Each quilt is then individually finished by hand and carefully inspected prior to packing.

Luxurious packaging

Our brand, care labels and the final packaging designs are unique. They have been carefully designed to compliment the luxury of pure alpaca and to be clearly differentiated in the market.
